How Flo Solutions Got Here
Flo Solutions was founded in 2018 by Fred Macondray, a technology leader whose work in IT began in 1994. Before starting Flo Solutions, Fred worked across more than 25 companies as an employee and contractor, building hands-on experience in systems administration, network design, support, and small business IT infrastructure.
That background shaped a clear point of view: too many businesses were being forced to manage technology through emergencies. Servers were fixed only after they failed. Networks were changed without strong documentation. Business owners were left to make technical decisions without the context they needed.
Flo Solutions was created to move clients away from that reactive pattern. The company focuses on discovery, documentation, proactive monitoring, policy-based management, and practical technology guidance so businesses can make decisions with more clarity.
Today, Flo Solutions supports small and midsized organizations across the Greater San Francisco Area, including teams that have outgrown ad hoc IT help and need a more structured approach.
